What did you learn along the way at Helping Friends?

That people are at the heart of any meaningful business. To be too busy to remember why we are here in the first place is impractical and a waste of time.

Great Recruiting Partnerships.
Incredibly talented and resourceful candidates.
When Jobs and Resumes are pouring in, and we are working like crazy to staff-- it's beautiful!

What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Helping Friends?

Concurrently, thousands of my friends were also candidates who I had worked with for many years. Supporting them through the career process and trying to create opportunities in spare windows of time was the toughest problem. Solved it through LinkedIn Networking and being fortunate to meet some great industry luminaries.... read more

Finding synchronicity that puts great people in great jobs, and aligns great jobs for great people-- the right job is a win for employer, employee and Helping Friends-- we know and love that.

Helping Friends literally started as an effort of collaboration between friends, helping one another through a difficult time. Today we are about helping professionals to find great jobs... Most rewarding work I have ever done.

What was your most memorable summer job?

I was a 'T-shirt' designer at a Oceanside California Harbor Specialty Shop.. Designing custom tshirts for tourists, while overlooking the ocean!

Dawn is am amazing lady! She takes complex situation and is able to narrow down the priorities. She has such passion for what she does and that translates into her work. I had not had the pleasure to work with someone who had such knowledge and ambition until I worked with Dawn.
