What have your past employers loved about you?
My past employers have always loved my passion for wanting to do more. I always found something else besides my actual job description to do to better my store or office. I am always up to learn something and to meet a challenge. Anything that anyone threw at me, I would make it a learning experience and tackle it....

Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
In ten years, I hope to be doing Medical Transcription from home, while training entry level transcriptionists. I see that it's difficult to get a Medical Transcription job without experience. Although I know that I would be an asset to any office or facility, it's difficult to prove that with no prior experience. I feel that hiring newly trained transcriptionists would not only help them gain experience, but the specific type of experience that you can only gain from actually working....

What kind of job are you looking for?
I am looking for a job with more responsibility than I have had in the past. I have been a stay at home mother for the last four years, and feel that I have gained very important skills necessary for such a job. I look forward to doing something that's important, and fulfilling. I'm basically looking to meet a challenge, and to continue challenging myself....

What do you miss most about
Starbucks?
I miss the personal relationships that you gain at Starbucks. You not only develop friendships and relationships with your co workers and supervisors, but also the customers. You get to know the "regulars" that come in on a daily basis, and have the opportunity to really let them know that you care about them as a customer and a person by giving them an excellent experience and a quality product....

What did you learn along the way at
The Diamond Center?
I only worked at The Diamond Center for a month, as it was a temporary position for the Holiday season. I learned to step up and go above and beyond my actual duties to help out the store in every situation I could. I not only did the basic duties that I was assigned to do, but took it upon myself to learn more about computer applicaions, jewelry itself, and the back office work....

What's the secret to getting hired at
Starbucks?
Excellent interpesonal skills and persistence was the secret to getting hired at Starbucks. There are an incredible amount of applications that come to each location on a daily basis, and you really have to stand out as an outgoing and hardworking, interesting person to set yourself above the rest of the applicants....
