How would you describe what you did at Twin Cities Public Television?

I direct and approve all science content for the television series called DragonflyTV, a nationally broadcast series for PBS.

What do you do for fun?

I play banjo in a pick-up bluegrass/country/swing band, called The Recliners. We're starting to get some gigs in clubs in the Minneapolis-St Paul area.

What path did you take to your current career?

I began as a entry level chemist. Shortly thereafter I re-eneter school and began a long a fruitful career as a classroom teacher. I taught middle school and high school chemistry and physics.
