The managed-care world is full of jargon, acronyms, and implicit assumptions. Don't be afraid to ask multiple people for definitions, look things up, and question the reasons why things are allocated in the way they are. Such inquiries are not only helpful to you, but to the greater company. A fresh perspective often catches errors and leads to improvements within the field....
