What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Upscale Professional Installations?

You must be versatile and always maintain a positve attitude. Each project poses it's own unique challenges and you must anticipate with a proactive approach with no excuses. I possess that attitude and have dupilcated that in those that have worked with me.

How would you describe what you did at Upscale Professional Installations?

I started out as an installer working for Office Images Inc. I became interested in developing into an independent contractor. I was given somee isolated assignments to complete. Many of them were out of town deliveries and installations as far away as New York City. Eventually I began to particiapte in local installs ranging anywhere between 5- 200 workstations. I began to develop a crew of other contractors. At one point in time I had as many as 8-10 installers working for me.My company worked on projects with major organizations such as Wachovia Bank,Red Cross,Woodruff Arts Center,Georgia Perimeter College, Scientific Atlanta, Internal Revenue Service and many, many others. The economy has precipated a competitive climate that has nmade it difficult to continue. What's the secret to getting hired at Upscale Professional Installations?

You must be possess an aptitude and willingness to learn how to receive and install office systems furniture with
speed, efficiency and professionalism, using a variety of tools ranging from a hammer drill to a self levelinhg laser. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints and design
specs to insure the proper completion of an installation project. You must be versatile and able to adapt to unique problems that may arise during the course of each particular project.... read more
