What do you miss most about Amazon.com?

The view from my Pac Med office on the 5th floor. It looked out over the stadiums, the sound and olympic mountains. It was amazing.

What advice would you give to a new employee at Amazon.com?

Get to know the site in every detail.

Work to quickly understand the challenges facing companies in Amazon's market segment.

Talk to your peers about the culture.

Prepare to be re-orged in the next few weeks.

What's one of the projects you worked on at Amazon.com?

One of the projects I'm most proud of is the Arnold Ad Delivery tool. With this tool, Amazon was able to deliver targeted ads across most page types. By following the customer throughout the site with a single message, we were able to drive a significant amount of traffic to new categories.
