Myspace or Facebook (or neither)?

Facebook is great for keeping in touch with old friends. It lets you search for people in the same networks or groups as you to find people that you know, while still keeping security a priority. It keeps people who don't know you from finding out too much information.

While I used to stay
away from MySpace because there is less security, it is great for networking. I use MySpace for a business that I have just started, so I keep my profile on public but do not post any personal information. With my business, I am selling women's clothing specially designed for sports fans and while Facebook allows you to search for people from certain places and schools, MySpace lets you search for people with certain interests. I can go to fan groups or profile pages and find thousands of people who are sports fans.... read more

How would you describe your time at NBApparel?

I'm a young woman who is an NBA fan and I was looking for stylish women's clothing to support my team, but I couldn't find anything. So, I am currently in the process of coming up with designs to be screen printed on women's shirts, shorts, pants and skirts, and maybe handbags so I can sell them to other women. I did layout design for multiple sections of the yearbook, taught others how to use the computer programs needed (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), and edited everyone's pages concentrating on detail and continuity of the theme and layout.

These two restaurants are owned by the same people, so I was hired to work at both of them. I started as a waitress and went up to Assistant Manager, having duties such as making sure the restaurants were in good visual order, the rest of the staff were doing a good job, and the customers were happy with their experience. This high school is a private school that is overseas in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At this school I interacted with many different types of people and while staying on the honor roll, I was also senior editor of the yearbook and co-president of the prom committee.
