Web Design - Backoffice Applications in PHP/MYSQL
How would you describe your time at Orange?
- Responsible for creating new back-office applications for the Orange France Search Engine, including Related Search, Orange Mobile Portal and e-Bookmarking
- Developing the prototype of the mobile phone interface of the Orange France Search Engine in WML and Orange ML. Target audience of the end-product: 6 million users.
- Build and maintain the Orange Web Referencing site, http://referencement.ke.orange.fr, adding extra functionality to accommodate load balancing on production servers
- Created key features (bookmark creation modification, suppression, research, RSS???) in the Orange e-Bookmarking utility: http://favoris.orange.fr. To be released shortly.
- Working closely with test and validation teams to quickly resolve technical issues...

How would you describe your time at Motorola?
- Created, tracked and implemented flex requests transmitted to Motorola Technical Account Managers by Phone Operator representatives (Orange, T-Mobile, etc)
- Work closely with development teams in Beijing to provide up-to-date support information for Technical Account Managers
- Assist end-users in quickly identifying and resolving technical and functionality issues
- Identified the need for software utility to track incoming flex requests efficiently
- Displayed initiative, created EASYFLEX: a company-wide request management web tool
- Delivered specification, user manuals and maintenance documentation
- Worked with Beijing team to incorporate EASYFLEX into existing Motorola flex tools.
- Trained Technical Account Managers, Program Managers and Flex Teams- Provided support end-users in person, by telephone and via Net Meeting

- Analyzed Software design documents and created test vectors based on requirements
- Ensured that requirements and DO178B NA norms were met in inspected components
- Executed coverage tests using ATOLL and RTRT and analyzed coverage results
- Troubleshooting of functional and coverage-related issues.
- Compiled test and anomaly reports for all components

- Intern, hired as Contractor in October 2003 later
- Worked with CAD Teams to plan software requirements for PROJMAN: a project management web utility.
- Developed PROJMAN with PHP, MYSQL, HTML, DHTML and JAVASCRIPT
- Worked closely with co-developers in the US, mostly after hours (American Time)
- Ensured bug resolution and implementation of enhancements in minimal time
- Accountable for the smooth running and migration of PROJMAN from France to the US
- Scheduled and coordinated meetings for up to 30 people to present current features and define new requirements for the application
- Trained and provided support for all PROJMAN users company-wide...
