If you won $50 million dollars tomorrow, what would you do first?
Arrange a trust to fund the continued work of 8 - 10 of the non-profits I support and believe in. There are many excellent environmental, educational, health and human services groups (in the US and Globally) working on a day to day basis with limited funding. They exist on the vision and energy of dedicated volunteers (often a small number) giving of their time and resources to help others in need or further a vision. I have been very blessed through giving back; I would like to do more. An excellent example of a privately funded trust is the Foundation for Better Life.. http://www.forbetterlife.org...

A Billion dollar International Products company. Led volume-staffing activities during growth phases and implementation of cost reduction strategies in lean times as a senior staff member. Supported multiple ICN Business units; grew and mentored staffing teams and resources in Boca Raton, Orlando, Atlanta and Santa Clara. Performed life cycle staffing from requisition creation to offer closure and hire.
* While personally responsible for a Requisition load of over 150 concurrent positions; reduced Time to Fill from 100 days to 42 days.
* Developed strategies to reduce agency fees in directly supported business units more than 90%; which resulted in cost avoidance of $1.6M in 2000 and $900K in 2001.
* Led efforts to formulate and implement best practice plans for web enabled technologies that included posting, promotion, sourcing and candidate tracking / selection, university recruiting and diversity staffing.

Lockheed Martin's Information Sector provides a variety of managed development services to public and governmental clients. I supported volume-recruiting needs for EPA/NTACS in Raleigh which included internet sourcing, candidate pool development, selection, interview and offer negotiation. Special projects included:
o CRAY Data Center Relocation; 20 hires in 30 days.
o Identified, selected and assisted the implementation of an Internet based ATS (GRS-IRIS now PeopleClick).
Also as a Consultant Recruiter for Real 3D a technology joint venture of Lockheed Martin and Intel involved in leading edge Graphics and Visualization technologies for PC and Systems Integration. Real3D and Intel jointly developed the AGP core for the Pentium 3 and 4 processors.
