If you won $50 million dollars tomorrow, what would you do first?
Arrange a trust to fund the continued work of 8 - 10 of the non-profits I support and believe in. There are many excellent environmental, educational, health and human services groups (in the US and Globally) working on a day to day basis with limited funding. They exist on the vision and energy of dedicated volunteers (often a small number) giving of their time and resources to help others in need or further a vision. I have been very blessed through giving back; I would like to do more. An excellent example of a privately funded trust is the Foundation for Better Life.. http://www.forbetterlife.org...
