What was your first job?
I started my first job as paperboy for the News Tribune in Waltham Ma when I was 9 or 10. I bought the 28 house route from my friend Kevin for $100 bucks. I had the route for three or four years. The customers loved me but I was never great at keeping the books fully up to date. Whenever I was hungry for a McDonalds McChicken or some Starburst candy I would stop by one of the customers who I thought was behind on their payments, ring the doorbell and say "collecting". That habit probably contributed to my severe acne problem but I really think this first job helped me learn how to deal with people and nurtured my entrepreneurial sprit. The books always balanced in the end. It was probably the best $100 I ever spent. Today I'm 36 and the President of Backbone http://www.backbonemedia.com Media Inc. and Scout Blogging Services http://www.scoutblogging.com ....
