What was your first job?

My first job was as a waitress at Foxdale Village retirement home in State College, PA. I had the pleasure of working there for almost four years when I decided that I needed to devote my attention to my school work.

I really learned a lot from my internship by getting to utilize the skills I learned in school and turning them into experience.

I gained a lot of experience at BioLife. I learned how to perform venipunctures and supervise the plasmapheresis procedure. I also had a lot of "patient" interaction.
