How would you describe your time at Nasa-MSFC/Mainthia?
Coordinator for the Department's I&PS Awareness University. Attend training's and meetings for the Department's Assistant Manager as the EI01 Training Liaison. After trained, I am responsible for training our Department MSA's on what I learned and filling in the Training Liaison/Manager what I have learned dealing with the budget allocation tool system, training/conference forms, and the new SATERN system that was coming out. Back up for the Assistant Manager as the alternate Training Liaison. Keep track of incoming training/conference's, check all of the forms to make sure everything is correct on the form before getting signatures, then logging them in a system, make copies, and mail them out to the training office. Create the Department's Moving Footprint in Excel due to re-org; which consists of contractors and civil servants from where they currently are to where they will be moving and keep up with any changes to the footprint. Assist Manager/Division Chief's/Branch Chief's in getting volunteers to do Tech Presentations/Safety Minutes for the EI01 Staff Meeting/ED01 Staff Meeting. After selections are made and subject is reported; everything is combined into a table chart for everyone to view. Required to SRS's for graphics, photo services, bus request's, government vehicles for business or TDY purposes. Prepared and is the POC for the EI01 Department Org Chart; keep it updated monthly. Perform computer related tasks such as typing of memorandums, travel vouchers, travel orders, e-mails, and presentations. Responsible for sorting and distributing the mail to the group mailboxes for the EI01 Department. Responsible for answering multi-telephone lines and delivering messages to the designated person. Perform office functions such as photocopying documents, transmitting of faxes, making view graphs, and printing out documents for the managers. Prepare weekly Staff packets for Staff Meeting. Assist in maintaining the Department Manager's calendar and maintaining the Deputy Manager's calendar, and other department staff personnel's calendars as required utilizing the Microsoft Outlook Calendar. Reserve conference rooms as required. Trained to set up audio telecons and video teleconferencing in the conference rooms. Schedule meetings and interviews for/with the manager, assistant managers, division chief's, and other employees. Responsible for attending training sessions as required to keep current with new office tools and software programs. Responsible for keeping Web-based Intranet updated....
