Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

Pete Heller, the President of Pioneer Standard Electronics. He augmented my college major studies with the application of the learning. It provided a deep understanding and a great platform in understanding distribution channels.

Created and executed on the first strategic marketing plan targeting enterprises using the SAP Business Suite. The first year of marketing program implementation, 2007, yielded a doubling of revenue to $5 million over the previous year. The 2008 marketing programs are on track to double 2007 revenue with the revenue for the Q1 & Q2 equal to the previous year's revenue. Marketing programs and highlights:

* Implemented lead generation processes that doubled the number of leads acquired over 2007. Each source of lead; tradeshows, website, and internet advertising increased each year.

* Instituted a comprehensive update to the company's brand and style to upgrade its perception of a small company to an enterprise software vendor to the largest of organizations. The website was also upgraded and received twice the number of new visitors over the previous year.

* Authored value propositions to match the enterprise decision making and buying process providing the sales team buyer side insights. This effort changed that sales approach and deal size from an average of $20K to $50K - 100K.

* Built a customer centric marketing organization which featured the customers' successes. This generated a library of customer case studies, educational presentations, and articles which were featured on the company's website as well and industry trade publications and partner websites.
