How would you describe your time at THE SOUTHLAND?

Drove programs and relationships with the California, Arizona and Texas State Lotteries to implement strategic programs and negotiated 15% commission increase for retailers. Developed good working relationship with USDA and Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to overcome individual store violations.

Wrote press releases for all events and Loss Prevention incidents. Planned and executed the reopening of eight 7-Eleven Stores that were burned down in the LA riots with Press, Local and State Government. Worked closely with City, County and State officials to develop new ordinances for the safety and protection of patrons.

Responsible for all corporate sponsorships throughout the State of California. Developed computerized tracking system for all donated funds and special event sponsorships. Developed and managed ongoing canister collection programs for MDA, Sickle cell Disease Research Foundation and Police Memorial Fund. Raised over $2 million in donations....
