I teach elementary and junior high school students at Japanese public schools. As the only foreigner at my school and the only English speaker in my town, I positively represent US values and culture. How would you describe your time at Cartus?
I coordinated all aspects of relocation for current Microsoft employees and new hires. This included arranging the household goods move, car shipments, flights, car rentals, hotels, real estate agents on both the selling and purchasing end, and the reimbursement of expenses.

How would you describe your time at Peace Corps Kyrgyzstan?
As a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan, I taught English to secondary school students. Because I had few available resources, this included developing all lesson plans, teaching tools, and tests from scratch. I was also responsible for the development of after-school programs, including several English-language clubs, a writing club, a dance club, and a movie club. Outside of school, I worked with other volunteers to organize teacher training workshops and was a regular presenter at similar workshops....
