How would you describe your time at GTZ?
General Management and day to day office operations: responsible for coordination of internal and external services including periodical management responsibility during travel related absence of Program Director, preparing and monitoring monthly program steering group meetings, directly managing and mentoring team of four. Liaison: with GTZ headquarters and regional projects, other German DC agencies in Peru, German development cooperation ministry BMZ, German embassy in Peru; with Peruvian counterpart institutions INRENA, CONAM, MEF, MINAG, PROMPERU and Regional Governments as well as private sector; prepare and follow up cooperation agreements, strategic alliances and Public-Private Partnership projects. Internal and external communications: supervision of publications including bimonthly newsletter; in charge of design and maintenance of program web-page, coordination of meetings and events, writing and editing reports for external and internal stakeholders in German and Spanish, maintenance and upgrading of digital information systems. Knowledge Management: updating of products and strategies, organization of knowledge exchange meetings and dissemination of publications / products. Finance and administration: responsible for preparing and monitoring program and component budgets, cost monitoring, administrative procedures, internal and external audits. Monitoring and Evaluation: in charge of results based monitoring, reporting to German development ministry BMZ, electronic evaluation system e-VAL, mid-term evaluations. Technical/thematic: good knowledge of natural protected areas, eco-finance and watershed management issues in Peru; practical experience in value chain analysis with emphasis on biotrade and sustainable tourism; good understanding of regional planning and development issues including disaster risk management....
