How would you describe your time at publix supermarkets?
For the first five years I worked in what they called the back office, where I had to process checks, make deposits of all tender, work up returned checks, collect routine pick-ups from tills. Do accounting for daily and weekly sales for the store. In the proceeding two years, I switched positions to the Seafood Dept. which in turn I became head of. Daily tasks included ordering fresh, frozen, and warehouse items for stock. daily paperwork to keep track of inventory and training of new associates. Setting up dept. for the day and preparing all fresh imformation to customers and tending to customers needs and requests....
