What are you most passionate about?

There is seemingly no way to say this without seeming overly zealous or like a beauty pageant contestant, so I'll just say it:

Universal love and humanity. I am most passionate about work that truly benefits others and a stance of embracing everyone of every background as equal. I really do
mean those who most often are dispised.

I personally struggle with this and not being proud about who I am or at some level think I may be better, but I long to always establish relationships on even grounds. I want everyone to feel loved and at the very least respected.

Hope Institute March 2008 to April 2008
Inventory Planner (Temporary)

How would you describe your time at Hope Institute?

It was a great work environment to be in; my supervisor was very helpful and open to questions as were my co-workers.

My job duties were to inventory all items of the school that were of $100 value or more, items that had already been tagged, or items similar to what had already been tagged.
This process involved a lot of data entry, coordination with all of the school's departments, technical writing, and learning of new technologies. In all about 4000 items had to been inventoried with a detailed description and location listing.

The project was definitely challenging and required making a lot of contacts, but the staff around me helped make my experience very enjoyable.

How would you describe your time at Leslie Yellin & Ed Levy?

It was a great work experience to have such regular contact with the people that I worked for.

This job presented me with the challenge of learning to do anything that was needed, whether it was internet research for my supervisor's work, special errands, catering, and more. No two weeks
were the same, schedules were always changing, and so were the tasks and needs.

This job helped keep me on my feet and was challenging in maintaining a professional mindset in a home environment.

How would you describe your time at Illinois Baptist State Asso...?

My time at the IBSA was a great and influential challenge for me.

The idea was entirely new for the IBSA so I had to completely develop the program. I had no office hours or required shifts, but the job was entirely project based. It was really interesting to have the sort of freedom this
job allowed. It was also exciting to set up all of the contacts, projects, and arrangements for the job and then to brief the IBSA and local churches on the progress and research that I found.... read more

How would you describe your time at Language Aquisition Center-...?

My time at the LAC, has possibly been my favorite work experience to date. There were a lot of different types of tasks that were performed regularly and there was always something that we could research and improve. It was a great, comfortable work environment that provided a lot of professional experience.

Work at the LAC allowed for technical tasks, group discussions and projects, work with professors and making their jobs easier, helping students with their regular work and to better use the resources available, and very individual tasks like research.
