To whom it may concern:
I am applying for any suitable job, relevant to my work history, in Pocahontas or the surrounding counties, West Virginia, and the possibility out of state
employment. I previously worked as a supervisor for a community based organization, a case manager for a community based behavioral health center, a Director of Continuing Education for an Area Health Education Center (AHEC), and a teacher of behaviorally challenged students and I believe that I have the experience needed to perform, any of these duties.
As you can see by my resume, most of my past work has been in the health care field, and I feel that I am qualified to do any related job. I would welcome the opportunity of being granted an interview. I have been a WV Licensed Social Worker for many years. I worked for thirteen years for Appalachian Community Health Center in Elkins, did Crisis Intervention, Counseling, Case Management, Linkage and Referral, and other specific duties related to client needs. Within that time span, I was later the Community Development Specialist for Substance Abuse Prevention, and I am a Certified Addition Prevention Specialist through the West Virginia Certification Board for Addictions and Prevention Professionals. However, I do have a Master's Degree in Community Health Education, from WVU School of Medicine, which has enabled me to collaborate and promote community health and other community services and continuing education, throughout the state. As a Director of Continuing Education I had proven success with providing Continuing Education services through networking and partnership with WV hospitals, universities, and community organizations, as well as other health organizations. This year I was hired as the Long Term Substitute for a new In-School Suspension Program at Pocahontas County High School, which proved to be a success. During this time I worked with the Assistant Principal to place behavioral referrals and kept weekly and semi-annual records of students that had been placed in my room.
I am self-motivated, with good organizational and administrative skills and would readily look forward to the training and working with your agency. I have advanced computer skills and I am no stranger to extensive travel, and enjoy meeting new people. I harbor a strong sense of satisfaction with what I have accomplished over the years, and would like to carry on that tradition for your agency.
I hope that you will give me the opportunity to interview with you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Susan Anderson Borror
