How would you describe your time at Michigan State University?

I was able to grow as a person, learn how to apply knowledge gained, as well as continue to acquire new skills through my academics and various extra curricular activities. I was able to find within myself the power to control my own future by taking care of the business at hand. While juggling volunteering, work, and school, I found the balance and the ability to grow through these simultaneously, while achieving high marks, making great connections, and discovering my future goals and aspirations. Based on the multitude of psychology classes I took and countless hours spent on the phone counseling crisis clients, I was able to gain perspective of my life, and found the motivation to continue to help those who need help the most. I have seen how law and policy are two of the strongest catalysts for change, and have decided to pursue this goal of becoming an advocate for these desperate people.
