PROFILE
An experienced Technical Sales and Marketing Manager whose career has been with four multi-national companies, in roles aimed at establishing and supporting new business opportunities in key areas and target markets whilst requiring detailed product knowledge and strategic technical abilities. Experience of implementing major Sales and Marketing programmes for various products and services to both OEM and Distribution customers resulting in substantial sales growth and achieving profits well in excess of given targets.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
1) OEM/Distribution Sales
Experienced Sales Manager whose has extensive experience of developing new business in both OEM and Distribution markets. Responsible for developing sales and marketing strategies for key products and services to major OEM and Distribution customers.
2) Technical & Self Management Skills
Experienced Electronics Engineer (MSc) who has extensive experience in all aspects of new product design and development, from design to high volume manufacture. He has been responsible for managing the technical departments of two multi-national memory and PC card manufacturers. Is able to work with minimal supervision from a remote home office or customer location.
3) Goal Orientated & Resourceful
Highly competitive and passionately results focused. Enthusiastic, curious and communicative with others and is good at meeting people and exploring new ideas. Is good at drawing on resources from outside the team and can be relied upon to have a network of external contacts that he can use to help the team when necessary.
4) Creativity & Evaluation Skills
Strong conceptual thinker who enjoys creating and stimulating new ideas. When presented with problems he is very innovative and individualistic. When ideas are suggested he is very good at judging the merits of plans and ideas without being prejudiced by emotion. Can often be relied upon to come up with unexpected answers to problems and to make shrewd judgements based on all the facts. Can confidently sell new ideas to engage others and uses these skills well in his sales relationships with major OEM's.
5) Planning And Organisation Skills
