Chief Human Resource Executive, member of the executive management team reporting directly to the CEO and President of the largest credit union (by number of members) in the Houston area. Also responsible for Organizational Strategic Planning and Risk Management. Implemented a Web based HRMS system complete with employee and manager self service with workflow, resulting in significant improvement in HR and Payroll reporting and a 35% reduction in payroll expenses.
Facilitated the introduction of a Balanced Score Card process in the Credit Union???s Strategic Planning process resulted in a strategic long-range plan as opposed to the previous more tactical planning model.
Implemented a Strategic Employee Recruiting and Retention process which resulted in increase the overall quality of new hires and a 50% reduction in staff turnover over 4 years.
Oversaw the implementation of an organizational wide core-competency model which is being applied for recruitment, selection and performance management as well as ledership development and succession planning....

Last of multiple positions in Human Resources - In this position I was the Chief Human Resource Executive for a metropolitan community college system with over 50,000 students and 6,000 employees. Managed a staff of 35 and an annual operating budget of over $1.0 million.
Reengineered various HR functions to create a human resource service center.
Began the first employee dispute resolution program in a Texas community college which produced a 60% reduction in employee grievances and a corresponding improvement in the percentage of grievances which were resolved without litigation.
