What kind of job are you looking for?

I am looking for anything hands-on that will let me put my skills to use, as well as to mold and improve them. I am interested in helping both adults and children and would enjoy working with either or both. I have been told that I am a very easy person with whom to speak, and there is nothing more I enjoy than helping people find ways to improve their lives. How would you describe your time at City of Grosse Pointe Woods?

I was a full time lifeguard during the summer between the ages of 15 through 21. I was just recently recertified in CPR and Rescue Breathing, First aid and Lifeguard training for the professional rescuer. The position involved many miscellaneous tasks. Also I watched and guarded patrons int he pool and performed rescues and gave first aid when necessary. It also involved enforcing the rules of the pool, the water slides, the rock climbing wall, the diving boards, and the baby pools. This was an outdoor pool and employs over a hundred lifeguards every year due to its'large size.

How would you describe your time at Western Michigan University?

To add to the description of my work in behavioral psychology,the program is based in real life experience. I am currently working in the field with young children who have been diagnosed as having autism.
