How would you describe your time at Bryden Motors?
I started in February through a staffing agency for a 90 day trial with the company. My office manager found me very efficient, and decided to hire me on.
I do a lot of data entry, paying of bills, making sure that customers with in-house lease accounts are up to date on payments, etc. Since starting this position, I have also fixed a lot of the mistakes from the employee who preceded me in the job.
This position takes a lot of patience and attention to detail....

How would you describe your time at Beloit Access Television?
I help set up for TV shows, shoot them, and edit them on the computer to be aired on the public access channel.
I also occasionally program shows so that they air at the right time.
Sometimes, there are also special projects that I am called to shoot and edit in the surrounding community.

How would you describe your time at Breathe California?
I wrote many articles about the programs the organization held, and health issues that pertained to the cause.
I made visits to doctors' offices and hospitals to promote our camp for kids with asthma.
I designed a brochure about emphysema that I extensively researched.
I made daily inquiries of the news to find topics relating to the cause.
I visited the camp for kids with asthma and interviewed the participants in order to write an article about it.
I also found sponsors for our events by calling up many companies and stating our cause and our need for funding....

How would you describe your time at San Jose Repertory Theatre?
I called up previous subscribers of the theatre and tried to sell them subscriptions to the upcoming season.
I would help them choose what shows they would like to see, where they would sit, and I would process the order.

How would you describe your time at Monarch Video Services?
I helped create videos for the community.
I shot and edited video, shot and edited sound, and made my own DVD resume using Final Cut Studio Pro and its components.
I also used Photo Shop and Premiere Video.

How would you describe your time at Petland?
I fed, watered and cleaned up after small animals, which took two hours to do before opening time.
I worked a lot with the customers, making sure all their questions were answered, helping them purchase animals and items for the animals.
I worked the cash register and helped clean the kennel when needed....

How would you describe your time at beloit college?
Through a liberal arts education, I was not only able to study my fields of concentration, but took many classes from other fields, especially in Women's and Gender Studies.
In the Communications field, I learned how to shoot and edit video and the basics of audio. I took a public speaking class, and a communication theory class, as well as mass media and oral interpretation.
In my Acting major, I took acting classes as well as scenic design, script analysis and an audition class.
I feel very well-rounded after graduating Beloit College, which I believe will help me for future careers....
