How would you describe your time at Equip Tech / Exreme Haul'n?

As an Equip Tech/Extreme haul'n employee, I began as a fabricator and mechanic. Afterwards, the additional titles of an electrician, a carpenter, plumber, and parts and tool room management were added. To increase flexibility between the two businesses, I acquired my CDL. Unfortunately, as with many, they too, have faced serious cut backs and lay offs. I???ve not been laid off yet. The ownership is aware of my job search.... read more

It was one of the greatest jobs I've ever had. I joined Apac in May of 2004, to pursue an interest in repairing heavy equipment and a better wage. The leaders became confident in my ability to quickly solve their most challenging mechanical, electrical and hydraulic failures. How would you describe your time at Classic Fence?

In twenty six years of employment with Classic Fence Company, my first year was that of an installer. When their welder quit, I was able to offer my service as his replacement. When I heard of company complaints about the cost of an electrician, and the cost of maintaining their nine trucks and six forklifts, I once again offered my services, from training I received while in the military. To add capacity to their mill operation, I developed several wood milling and production machines. I also installed and programmed the system for their new PVC fence production line.... read more

How would you describe your time at florida technical college?

Challenging, only because it was difficult to work as many hours as I was, and then drive eighteen miles to school at night. Study and assignment time was an equal challenge of time. However, I learned a great deal, and the experience, as hard as it was, was a good one. My final GPA was 3.56 out of a 4.0. I graduated with a two year A.S. degree.... read more
