job was partime seasonal type job. I had to sign people up to Medicare Part D Govt.Program for their prescriptions to be filled and to get medical attention from doctors when the doctors would call the office for proof of the patients medical insurance part-D program, also get Information for the Pharmasists that would call in to verify the patients information as well. had to do the HIPA LAWS ONLINE WITH PATIENTS AS WELL ,AND WITH DOCTORS TO PROTECT PATIENTS RIGHTS..AND TO CORRECT ANY ADDRESSES,PHONE NUMBERS AND GIVE THE PATIENT THEIR NEW ID NUMBERS OVER THE PHONE AND REGISTER IT INSIDE THE COMPUTER AT THE SAME TIME. i learned how to operate a computer, install programs for the computer i was working on, learned how to operate adding machines, computer data entry, took lots of test and passed them,learned to type fast as possible for myself speed. made b average grades with my learning disabilites..that i over came of them with the help of this school. read alot of books..do reports on computer.,ran out of money and did not get to finish the other 2 years of school i needed to pass with.... read more
