??? Supported the Senior Vice President and Vice President of Human Resources Department until they were laid off in 2003. Handled all mail, new hires, filing of new hire personnel files and employee and manager handbooks until moved to Payroll Department.
??? Provide support to over twenty employees in HR Department, including staffing, payroll, benefits and employee relations until reorganization.
??? As New Hire specialist, verified all new hire paperwork was correct, including I-9, W4 and entered all new hire information into the HRIS system for six companies nationwide. Estimated number of new hires was between 2500 and 3000 annually.
??? Assisted 3 payroll specialists in whatever they needed including positive pay and stop payments on checks.
??? Verification of employment, verbal and written, for current and previous employees nationwide.
??? Received all garnishments and if employee was active sent to ADP for processing. If the employee had termed I responded to agencies, i.e. IRS, multiple State Child Support, attorneys and other agencies, either by filling out forms provided or by letters all returned via certified mail....
