Specialist III Accounting and Reconciler
Responsible for balancing and reconciling general ledger, state vaults, credit and cash accounts daily. Researched outages by clearly identifying and resolving problems. Worked with several banks, mainframes and databases used to reconcile daily.
Took over responsibilities of extremely large vaults when we lost several employees within the company, ensuring they were balanced and reconciled daily.
Helped build new databases for reconciling accounts faster and more efficiently, reducing costs and eliminating a large number of reports.
Enabled co-workers to perform their jobs more efficiently by teaching them advanced computer skills within the work environment.
Made Excel spreadsheets and assisted in development of scripts, minimizing the time needed to research information used for daily accounts.
Initiated projects and tasks that were extremely challenging, improving efficiency of co-workers??? job flow.
Managed the maestro project for the largest vault in the bank enabling team members to focus on smaller accounts....
