How would you describe your time at University of Minnesota - T...?
Like a lot of people beginning their college education, I was determined to make the most of my experience. I was almost six hours away from my hometown and knew very few people from high school were attending this college. Because of this fact, it forced me to branch out of my comfort zone and talk to people and form friendships with others that I had never met before. I was not even aware of the retail merchandising major when I enrolled at the school, but after some research into the program, I knew it would be a good fit for me. I have an avid interest in fashion and retail, but lacked the skill set to be a designer. The retail and business classes that i enrolled in help develop my passion and knowledge base in the field. I got the opportunity to intern with Target Stores and gained invaluable first-hand experience in the field. I also worked part-time at the Achitecture Library for four years, and served on the College of Human Ecology Educational Policy Committee as one of two undergrad representatives....
