Responsible for the operations, administration and network management of all PACS servers and workstations including:
??? Daily PACS system monitoring-- Trouble-shooting and problem solving, Study monitoring, Quality control and performance monitoring
??? PACS system management-- User management, Patient information management, Network management and Storage media management
??? Security-- Development and monitoring of policies and procedures
??? Providing training for new and ongoing PACS users;
??? Providing proactive project planning and coordination, documentation and technical administration.

Technologies used in daily work??? Administration-UNIX, LINUX, Windows XP. Experience with operational administration and network management of PACS servers and Workstations on all major components of PACS including Windows XP, UNIX, LINUX platforms; Data base technologies (SQL, SYBASE, ORACLE). Advisor and Consultant on Radiology Work Flow (HIS/RIS & HL7/DICOM XML integration technologies) New PACS Installations and Patches; pre-installation/installation phase/post-installation; Request for Proposal (RFP), Experience with all major Imaging Modalities including??? XR, CR, CT, MR, US, PET/CT, NM, Fluoro, XA, Mammo. Network Admin, LAN/WAN trouble shooting, Desktop Administration; Experience with UNIX, Shell, C, C++, C#, JAVA, J2EE, and .NET development; Experience in, HTTP, XML, HTML protocols and interfaces.
