If you won $50 million dollars tomorrow, what would you do first?

I would donate money to the American Cancer Society because I have had several family members who I have lost to cancer. I would also pay for my parent's home and buy my sister a house for her and my two nieces. After all of that was finished I would pay off all of my debts, purchase a house for my fiance and I, and then take a long vacation to the rainforest's of Costa Rica, a place that I have longed to go for a while.... read more

Assistant Park Ranger

How would you describe your time at Lake Waccamaw State Park?

As an assitant park ranger, I have a variety of responsibilities. I work with the maintenance crew doing basic landscaping jobs such as spreading mulch around the park, mowing grass, using a weed-eater, backpack blower, and hedge trimmers. I have also helped in constructing a new boardwalk that was placed along a trail in the park. I also assist the park rangers by doing research on various topics to educate the public on in the park, especially school-aged children. I am currently working on a project for grades K-2 and 3-8. The project contains information on butterflies, how some butterflies mimic each other and what we can do as individuals to protect butterflies.... read more

How would you describe your time at Univeristy of North Carolin...?

I was involved in many things while at UNC-P. I am a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, TriBeta Biological Honor Society, President of the Biology Club, and a member of Theta Kappa Sorority. While at UNC-P, I have participated in many events with the biology club such as plant sales, camping trips, and many roadside clean-ups. I am also in charge of recycling on campus, taking the recycled items to the proper facilities, and I do the same for my sorority and participate in roadside clean-ups as well.... read more
