What kind of job are you looking for?
I am looking for a challenging job in localization or with a startup. My current job has me working on multiple projects in three time zones and in eight languages. These projects include audio, video, flash and shockwave animations, pdf's, and layout and design duties. I'm happiest when I can work in diverse mediums fulfilling different roles.
After ten years as an educator of literature, composition, and research I've entered the field of software development. I have strong project management skills, and experience in editing, teaching, research, presentation, and writing.
I'd like to find a job where I can not only manage projects, but also utilize my diverse skill set to contribute to the long-term goals of a company....

How would you describe your time at Mcgraw-Hill Learning Group ...?
I project manage multlingual education software builds for the K-12 educational market. I have managed audio for eight different languages though the majority of my work is for Mcgraw-Hill's Spanish and bilingual software.
I coordinate the efforts of art, web design, audio production, web programming, and QA teams to bring the educational software onto the market within budget, time, and resource constraints. The software includes audio voiceover, flash animations, and html pages.
In the course of my day I edit audio, edit html, write RFP's, track budgets and deliverables, manage and train employees, review audio in Spanish and English. Sit in on Spanish audio recordings, and serve as an instructional designer and editor for Spanish language reading, and math programs.
I also help QA Spanish builds, and work with editorial and instructional designers to ensure that the Spanish language edition of the products retain the same educational value and quality of the English originals....
