What kind of job are you looking for?

I'd love to keep up with my event planning, but in a corporate capacity. I'd be more than happy to plan meetings as well, but I really enjoy fundraisers and charitable events. It feels good to plan an event that you know is doing good for someone somewhere. The more challenging the better. Busy.. In NYC I worked primarily on the Philip Morris account. I was a team player on several initiatives they were working on with various industries. This is also where I gathered most of my event planning skills as I began planning large meetings, parties, etc. for the client.

Smartest decision I ever made - going to Mason. Since it's located in the heart of Northern VA and it's proximity to DC, I was able to secure internships and jobs very easily both during and after school. Being a government major was perfect there as well. I was able to watch a Supreme Court case, help a Senator get elected and lobby on Capitol Hill during my 4 years of college.... read more
