Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?
Larry Bequeaith is my most influential mentor. When I began my teaching career, he was the P.E. teacher in my building. He was always there to assist me with any questions I had. He was a coach, and I was his assistant. During this time, he was also going back to school to get his Masters in Education. He was successful and later became my principal. Larry was well respected by his peers and those that worked for him. I believe Mr. Bequeaith is retiring this year after being the Superintendent at Tonica, Illinois. He has been, and always will be a mentor to me....
