Coordinate all aspects of budget development for the Garland ISD including Oracle set-up, end user training, Board and Finance Committee updates and Final Adopted Budget. Key contributor in the Oracle implementation including Public Sector Budgeting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, iExpense, iProcurement and Projects & Grants. Review all payroll costing before posting to the General Ledger as well as an in depth understanding of Human Resources and how that module relates to the rest of Oracle. Interact daily with all levels of employees within the District from campus principals and secretaries to directors and upper level management....

How would you describe your time at City of Lubbock?
Monitored the Public Works (Water, Sewer, Solid Waste and Streets) division as well as Storm Drainage, Parks and Recreation, Libraries and Civic Center/Auditorium. Supervised both the operating and capital budgets, trend analysis of sales tax receipts, property tax trends and performance measurement evaluation. Various other duties included compiling the Capital Projects budget for the City as well as examining all General Fund revenues and Special Revenues such as Hotel/Motel....
