Control Operator 1998 - 2008 Controlled polymerization processes and directed routine activities of chemical operators to efficiently achieve daily goals. Prepared necessary reactor and blowdown work schedules to accomplish daily goals set forth by supervision. Performed conversion tests to determine requested run additions and final results. Responsible for knowing basic operation of computers to perform process control. Directed job-specific activities of chemical operators, ensuring accurate completion of responsibilities. Monitored lines and valves for leakage of monomers or raw materials, identified problems to report to maintenance for repairs, resulting in reducing potential process interruption and downtime.
