* As a Naval Reservist, spent Summer annual training periods at the Navy's public relations headquarters in Washington, DC (1987-1990); two annual training periods (1999 and 2001) in public relations support at Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Naval Forces Europe in London, England; three months on active duty in support of base newspaper as a writer and photographer as well as public relations assistance at Naval Station Rota, Spain (July 2005-October 2005); three months of active duty providing public relations assistance and writing news articles for the U.S. Navy's Human Performance Centre (June 2004-September 2004); three months active duty for special work with the Chief of Naval Operations, Submarine Warfare Division (N87) in support of the public relations effort for the Submarine Centennial as well as public relations support for U.S. salvage assistance for the downed Russian submarine KURSK (June 2000-September 2000); in addition to providing public relations support to various operational exercises such as RIMPAC, KERNAL BLITZ, and Joint Task Force Exercise 96.
* Currently hold an SECRET Security Clearance from the Diplomatic Security Service of the U.S. Department of State Date first awarded on November 17, 2006.
* Currently hold an ENTNAC SECRET Security Clearance from the Defence Investigative Agency. Date first awarded on November 26, 1990....
