What's your ideal work environment?

Working from my home with some travel at first, extensive travel in a few yrs. High technology involvement fully utilizing internet, conference calling, online meetings, etc. More emphasis on creativity and less emphasis on routine tasks. Abhor repetitious tasks

How would you describe your time at Family Resource Center?

My title is an umbrella under which I coordinate grant writing, program administration, public relations, training of staff and contractors, maintain software and analyze customization needs, oversee accounting audit and tax preparation, develop volunteer programs, act as an accounting liason with the board of directors, and assist the executive directors with HR policy writing and implementation. Worked with clients under contract with the Iowa Department of Economic Development to assist and guide people on public assistance wanting to start their own business. Consulted and trained them on how to develop their business plan, research and compile cash flow and cash requirement projections, develop marketing plans, and prepare loan application to fund the business.
