What's your ideal role within an organization?

I would like to be support, if not more. I work well in an organized team-oriented environment where people have to work together, even under harsh circumstances. However, since I aspire to be a teacher, I would like to work my way up to management level eventually.

I enjoyed the experience of talking and interacting with a large diversity of people every day. I felt like I make a difference when people can received fast and friendly service with a short wait in line at Meijer.

I loved it! I was able to come in very early (5am) and bake pies, cookies, muffins, simple cakes, brownies, and other goodies! I did not mind the hours and absolutely LOVED the experience. I worked in the cafeteria serving food from a steam table. I also cleaned the cafeteria and stocked product. I also worked in a tiny convenience store by myself and closed there. Did some stocking there also. I also worked at Java City, the coffee shop kiosk, mainly alone, making espresso drinks for customers as well as coffee and stocking goods. I worked in the dining room serving food to the residents. I really like interacting with them and making them smile. This job was all about waitressing and memorizing residents' allergies and food preferences. Once these were memorized, the job because very enjoyable.

How would you describe your time at East Lansing High School?

After previously going to Catholic schools for my education, I transfered to ELHS my sophomore year and was very glad I did so. Their educational system is phenomenal and they have a great art program. This school is the reason I want to be a ceramics/pottery and English teacher.
