How would you describe your time at FutureTrade Technologies?
Managed the Data Center with 22 racks for servers and Data Comm equipment, 150KVA UPS and 1500 KVA diesel generator for building & three A/C units. Systems Support for 150 Win2K, Win2K3 and Linux servers.
Sys Admin for 150 Win2K3, Win2K and Linux servers.
Wrote & documented many of the IT procedures to support everything from Telecom, Desktop Support and Server configurations adopted by our company over the last 5 years.
Maintained Blackberry Enterprise Server & Devices. Negotiated contract with t-Mobile for BES Server software & devices. Also worked with Verizon & Cingular & Sprint for Blackberry Voice & Data service with those carriers.
Maintained EMC Clarion CM3500 SAN with both SATA & Fiber Channel HDD???s w/brocade F/C switches.

How would you describe your time at SAIC?
Maintained NetIQ, and using alerts from various midlevel network managers including CIM, IP Monitor, Mailcheck, Spectrum and other developed monitors for our various applications, monitored the operational status and trigger alerts on various system monitors across the US, and additionally alert via e-mail or pager alerts. This EMGT system monitors several thousand servers & network devices around the world, and correlates the alerts with several databases, which I help maintain for proper notification.
Developed additional tools using REXX and MS Access to ascertain additional operational aspects of tools above with special reports and notifications.
Consulting with vendors about operation aspects of their products, defining bugs, and working with them to resolve issues.
Interface with many system administrators to establish monitoring levels they wanted to be at. Worked with application developers to effectively raise alerts and process them via socket port connections to be processed.
System Administrator for the various servers and equipment used for the EMGT effort here in San Diego running both NT & Win2k.
Maintain paging server using Telalert application processing thousands of pages per day which were processed using modems & Internet connections using TAP, SNPP & TMEX protocols....
