How would you describe your time at Era Helicopters?

I have had the opportunity to wear many hats in a short amount of time. Many of which is all at the same time. I started as a Consumable Buyer, and quickly became the Purchasing Supervisor. However, due to the growth of the company my overall experience with understanding systems and processes transitioned me into my current position as the Supply-Chain Process Analyst. How would you describe your time at FedEx Ground?

My time at FedEx Ground was very structured with a clear vision of the career opportunities that was available for me. I was recruited to join a small team that would ultimately lead a major project ???Twins Projects??? in Pittsburgh, PA. After two years in PA, working on the twins Project I was promoted to the position of Sr. Manager in Lake Charles, LA in 2005. Nevertheless, my overall reflection of my time at FedEx Ground holds very good memories of the people and the company.... read more

How would you describe your time at United Parcel Service?

My time at United Parcel Service will never be forgotten, because here is where I spent 15+ years of my life. It all started unloading trucks to loading them while trying to determine my course of direction from an educational standpoint. I never thought I would be there beyond a years time, but after a year of unloading and loading trucks I was promoted to a PT. Operations Supervisor. However, during my fifteen (15) years there, I held positions such as Loss Prevention Supervisor, managed the Gulf of Mexico Hazardous Material processing program, QA, and Preload Supervisor. Life at UPS was very structured, but many of the advancements were contingent upon a person becoming a driver first. It was never in my plans to become a driver; therefore, if I wanted to continue to expand my career growth in areas that best suited my skills I needed to leave the company. Nevertheless, my overall reflection of my time at UPS holds very good memories of the people and the company. It is my understanding through reliable sources that UPS has since changed its??? policies. It is truly a great place to work, and has served as a building block in my professional career.... read more
