- Plan and execute agency???s annual fundraising events including AIDS Walk Wisconsin, Make A Promise and Jolly Holly Folly with a focus to meet and exceed the department???s annual goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing ARCW donors, statewide businesses and vendors through personal contact and community outreach efforts.
- Hire, manage and oversee two AIDS Walk Wisconsin interns and other seasonal staff and volunteers; network and collaborate with long-time supporters through various committee initiatives.
- Solicit and manage groups of 15 to 100+ volunteers to assist with annual fundraising events.
- Utilize donor database software (Raiser???s Edge) and online technology (Convio) to garner additional support and donor involvement in the agency???s special events, while regularly providing important event information and updates.
- Support ARCW???s former director of special events by adhering to department budgets, while escalating the agency???s profile to new and existing donors through innovative special events; support ARCW public affairs team and senior management with event marketing materials, plans and updates as necessary....

- Build and maintain relationships within the gay community, including local bars/clubs, universities and student groups, gay owned/friendly businesses, instilling the importance of fighting the HIV epidemic among the MSM community.
- Oversee all programming and coordination of the Milwaukee Bag Boyz??? a group of volunteers who frequent gay establishments/events throughout Milwaukee twice a month, providing HIV prevention and safer sex messages. Includes volunteer recruitment, training and outreach at local events including Pridefest, LGBT Film Festival, World AIDS Day, etc.
- Oversee and conduct the IMSexEd internet outreach program in Milwaukee ??? an innovative online program aimed at providing HIV prevention and safer sex messages to men in Gay.com statewide chat rooms.
- Provide rapid HIV testing to at-risk populations on an ongoing basis, including Hepatitis A/B immunizations.
- Lead on several agency internal program communications/promotions including a statewide website focusing on the MSM community providing important information on HIV/AIDS, STDs and testing; 2007 Bag Boyz marketing campaign; a line of brochures focusing on important topics aimed at the MSM community ??? to date these projects are in development.
- Remain in regular contact with Director of Prevention, as well as provide quarterly statistical updates to program managers of the Wisconsin HIV/AIDS Program....
