Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

Lee Powell, an electrical engineer in the Geophysics Program at the University of Wisconsin. We worked together in the field (two times in Siberia) and in the lab. He taught me much about how to troubleshoot and think creatively about technical problems. Also, I admired his patience and focus when working with a neophyte like me.
