I used Myspace initially but the pages are ugly as sin. People would put all these looping animations, music, noises and effect on their pages that you could hardly read them. I like the theory behind the creative freedom and some pages are really nice, like mine. But when all you ever wanted to do was leave a comment but the page would take 45 minutes to load and when it did you blacked out and woke up down an alley in Brixton in your underwear wondering how did I get here? Only to find out later than you had a seizure then simply walked out of the building muttering in tongues about the end of the world... Okay maybe that never happened but when someone puts an animated gif as their background and it loops and loops over and over, that's seizure time!!

But I prefer Facebook, it clean it's clear and has some really smart applications. Sure it gets annoying when people try to turn me into a zombie or when I'm asked, "Are you a Pirate or a Ninja?"... But that's minor, at least I'm not having seizures......
