Telecom NZ (CDMA) mobile billing and business area application support, general fault, change and service management for existing CDR Billing production application suite (Billdats & Kenan Arbor) having a multitude of inter-dependencies with other applications including ICMS, PROBE, Intermediate, Single eView and NetBits via interfaces.
Responsibility for day-to-day BAU production issues incl. trouble-shooting/fault analysis, development, co-ordination and liaison with other service providers (incl EDS in-house teams and 3rd parties), preparation and maintenance of fault documentation, ITIL and SOX compliance, maintenance of application information via in-house tools (problem, service and change management) as well as providing regular reports and metrics.

How would you describe your time at PTC 'ERA' (T-Mobile Poland)?
Full-time, permanent role based in Warsaw, Poland. Direct Hire. Years 2000-2006.
PTC 'ERA' (T-Mobile Poland) is the largest Polish cell phone company.
As part of the 3rd level BSS Unit I was responsible for rating/billing systems operation (LHS BSCS, EHTP BMP, Infranet), day-to-day BAU maintenance, BMP and UC4 job configuration, multitude of billing tests and 24/7 standby on call, liaison with Roaming Unit in TAP processing, performing TADIG tests (signing Certificates on behalf of 'ERA'), roaming billing operation, communication with data clearing houses (EDS, MACH), roaming billing issues, analyzing rating trends and KPI's, preparing reports, reviewing project documentation and procedures, providing sole support for several systems incl. e.g. debt collecting and IVR account balance.
I was also responsible for MS SharePoint Portal (175 sites, 8000 documents, dozens of users) and for liaison with MS developers.

How would you describe your time at PTC 'ERA' (T-Mobile Poland)?
As part of the 2nd level of the IT Helpdesk/Technical Support Unit I was responsible for over 3000 PCs (Dell), user and application maintenance using corporate tools (problem tracking applications, SMS, Citrix, TNG, Ghost, Legato Networker, Nortons, MS Office and many more), sole printers support for the entire corporation (over 350 HP/Xerox/OCE/Lexmark printers) - configuration, updating server drivers, liaison with suppliers and overall technical support according to the ITIL and ISO specifications and corporate procedures. My biggest achievement was a corporate scale project involving team management and coordination of painless MS print servers migration from old Windows NT4 machines to new Windows 2000 servers.

ProNet acted as outsourced team providing helpdesk service focused on Edipresse Poland (Polish branch of an international publishing company, the second countrywide publisher in Poland, well known for titles such as 'Przyjaciolka', 'Viva!', 'Uroda', 'Dom&Wnetrze' etc.).
Responsibility for supporting Edipresse Poland and several outer customers (Warsaw Polytechnic, sets of chambers and small companies) in general MAC/PC software, hardware and user maintenance, software and hardware inventory stocktaking, updating databases and hardware and network maps (Adobe Illustrator).

A sole responsibility for network maintenance (token ring), hardware (IBM) and software (Suse Linux, OS/2, MS Windows) support and preparation for sale (pre-installation and testing) , PC/voltmeter interface driver tests, inventory stocktaking etc.
Marek Peryt (the owner) was a popular PC adviser and author of a computer-related TV program and video guide publications in the 1990s. The company acted as a PC school for beginners, IBM franchisee, Microsoft's certified partner and specialized interfaces supplier for academic research centers.
