If you could choose, what city would you most like to live/work in? Why?

I lived in New York for most of my life and like the small town quiet of Altoona, but there isn't a lot of opportunity here. I will probably be moving somewhere on the coast. I really miss the rivers and the ocean that we had in New York.

I took and relayed messages for all the local tow trucks in our city. I also was the paging operator.

I trained all new employees, set the operators schedules, did the books, made sure the office was running smoothly. I Dispatched for Alamo Ambulance and Love Effron Fuel Oil. I did customer service, and signed on new customers. I also programed the on call schedules for many of our accounts.

I sold clothes, did inventory, I did all the clothing displays, which was a challenge, because we had no maniquins. I enjoyed this job. It was a very creative experience.

I first was in the Secretarial Science curriculum and transfered to the Business Management Department. I learned every aspect of business management and developement. I was trained to be a buyer for high end department stores. I was also trained in window design.
