Developed Visual Basic applications using SQL Server databases and Crystal Reports for ITS Services, INC. at the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Duties include total life cycle development including database design, application design and testing, deployment, report design and training.

How would you describe your time at Senior Information Engineer?
Developed Visual Basic systems using Access and SQL Server 7.0 for the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville Indiana. System responsibilities include total life cycle, database and system analysis and design, development, deployment and training. Also played a major role in the instruction of Visual Basic, Access and SQL to Census Bureau staff members.
Responsible for a printed form quality assurance system used for the 2000 Census. The "Print Sample" system records visual and automated readings inspection results for transmittal to Census Headquarters. The system is installed in Jeffersonville where is supports 25 users. The system is also being used by Census field representatives on laptops as well as printing contractors around the country. This system was developed jointly with R.I.T. Research Corporation....

How would you describe your time at American Commercial Lines?
Developed Multi-user Visual Basic application which allows users to maintain Current Fleet Information. Functions include order entry; data display and reporting; graphical display of Fleet Pictures and Tow Diagrams. Drag and Drop interface for maintaining Fleet Picture. Extensive use of Sybase Stored procedures; RDO, FarPoint Spread Sheet, Treeview and Listview controls. This system is installed at five remote locations. The system also integrates data from UNISYS Mainframe and additional data communicated directly from systems on our boats. I also helped develop a spin off application of this system that is being used in our South America office....
