How would you describe your time at RMT?
In a larger company this position would normally be handled by a department or several departments, however, this position handled all the Administrative and Human Resource functions, along with most all Accounting responsibilities (aside from payroll and financial reporting to government offices, such duties were handled by the company's enlisted CPA).

Workers Compensation Case Management Providers, Assist employees with benefit policy issues, new hire applications and maintenance of policy adds and terminations) General Accounting; General Ledger and Journal entries, A/R, A/P, Monthly Financial Forecasts, Maintain Chart of Accounts & Fixed Assets, Financial Management, Service Invoicing, Expense Reconciliation and Validation, General Office Support (answer & screen phone calls, copying, filing, data entry, customer relations), Monthly forecasts, month end closings, year end closing, Review company policy, suggest and implement addendums to policy manuals, New Hire intake (training on report procedures, company policy, benefit enrollment, document collection), Payment processing, Manage employee records, Bank Reconciliations, Collections, Experienced with Dac Easy Accounting Software, Lotus, Excel, MS Word, 10 key Calculator. At onset of employment I initialized an internal audit of company phone subscriber services and costs due to noticeably large phone costs and reviewed competitor offerings. My audit and implementation of streamlined services saved the company over $25 k annually in phone services alone. I Re-Established correct policies and procedures for claiming entertainment and travel expenses in order to keep the company in line with allowances set fourth by the IRS. This reduced the number of false and exaggerated claims and in turn reduced what the company expenditures on travel and entertainment....
