What advice do you have for someone looking for their first job out of college?

Don't stop giving up! Work on those resumes! Follow your dream.... Do not become frustrated. you might have to take something else for a while learn from it. Keep a mental posative attitude and keep plugging!

How would you describe your time at Genesee Arc?

Train consumers for neccesary goals in their house as well as in the community. Document goal progress. Direct care including grooming, showering. Transporting consumers to recreational, community events. Plan lunch menues, grocery shopping, and assist consumers with housekeeping chores. Assist and plan recreation with consumers. Handle money allownace when out in the community with consumers. Attend weekly staff meetings and keep up with necessary training meetings in accordance with agency policy.... read more
