Co-founded a self-financed private space company developing propulsion and attitude control systems for multiple customers. Performed engineering leadership functions, mechanical design, hand-built hardware, organized testing, planned/tracked finances (as CFO), prepared proposals, and assisted in business planning. Key Accomplishments:
* Led design and fabrication of SpeedUp's Laramie Rose, a hovering technology demonstrator to compete in NASA's Lunar Lander Analog Challenge--proved how such prototype systems can be built quickly and at low cost.
* Planned and directed nine successful, safe, static firings of Frontier's Asp, a hydrogen-peroxide monopropellant engine designed to produce 1500 lb thrust--designed and proved methods for safe, reliable operations.
